Geology and Landform
Very little of the natural landscape remains within the Centennial Parklands due to the extent of change undertaken to form the culturally modified landscape seen today.
However it is clear that underlying geology, landform and drainage have strongly influenced the formation of the parklands, which can be understood as a response to the natural environment and setting.
