Queens Park Shed

Our most recent café is open and has been a hit with park visitors! The café is set within a stylishly converted parkland shed. The rustic-inspired interior references the building’s past whilst adding a modern flair. Surrounded by popular playing fields and adjacent to an enclosed children’s playground, Queens Park Shed is the ideal location for sports lovers and families to enjoy a relaxed and friendly all-day café experience.

It is located on Darley Road, Queens Park.

The operating hours are:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 7.00 am to 4.00 pm
  • Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 7.00 am – late (dinner from 5.00 pm)
  • Sunday: 7.00 am to 5.30 pm

Barbecues and picnics across Centennial Parklands

Centennial Parklands has been one of the most popular picnic spots in Sydney for generations. Every year thousands of people enjoy the great open spaces to gather with family and friends in the great outdoors.

Another popular feature of the Parklands are the eight free gas-powered barbecues available for public use. The Queens Park barbecue is located at the eastern end of the playground.

There are a number of Rules and Regulations regarding picnics and barbecues, as well as a great new opportunity for large groups over 100 to book dedicated picnic sites in Centennial Park.
