Posted: 20 January 2012
The Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust has completed new linemarking and re-painting of much of the existing roadway linemarkings around the Parklands.
The work has involved the updating of the two continuous white lines around Grand Drive, Centennial Park, with particular focus on visitor safety around the Learners Cycleway and creating several pedestrian crossings linking walking paths across internal roads.
Re-painting of roadway symbols, speed Limits and arrows have also been completed to improve visibility for cyclists, motorists and rollerbladers.
New linemarking has also been undertaken in the Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre to improve traffic flow and site safety.
