Temporary Playground opens

The Trust is pleased to announce the opening of a new temporary play area for visitors to Parade Grounds, Centennial Park.
The play area, designed for the 1 to 5 years age range, includes swings, a slide, climbing lizard and other play features. It has been installed for the convenience of park visitors while the new permanent playground adjacent to the Centennial Parklands Restaurant is being created.
The new permanent playground will begin construction during Stage Three of Restaurant Precinct upgrade works (due to begin in October 2008). It is anticipated that it will take three months to complete.
