NAIDOC Week in Centennial Parklands
10 July 2008
NAIDOC Week came to Centennial Parklands today, with a group of Sydney's youngsters joining local Dharawal artist Deb Lennis on the "Swamp Dreaming" tour.
Deb has been undertaking this tour in Centennial Park for many years now using an entertaining storytelling tour that includes a Guriwal dreamtime story of how Lachlan Swamp was created, and providing insights into the different varities of plants throughout the Lachlan Swamp area and how the Aboriginal population used these plants.
