New Green Corps project launched

The Centennial Parklands Foundation and Greening Australia (NSW), have secured a second Green Corps project for Centennial Parklands.
From February 2008 the Green Corps team will undertake works in Centennial Park including carp removal, pond riparian zone restoration and culturally significant tree plantings will be undertaken such as within Queens Park and Moore Park.
Green Corps, Young Australians for the Environment, is an Australian Government program offering young people the opportunity to be paid while receiving accredited training working on six month environment and heritage projects.
