Outdoor Event Areas in Moore Park

Moore Park has event sites for both private and public functions and events, large and small, all situated within its uniquely beautiful surroundings.

Area 2

Max capacity: 30,000

Area 2 is located in Driver Avenue opposite the Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries. It is bounded by Anzac Parade and Lang Road and the maximum capacity of the area is 30,000.

Area 2 is also used for event parking for the Sydney Cricket Ground and the Sydney Football Stadium, as well as a designated location for infrastructure relating to the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade, Sydney 2000 Olympics and Paralympics.

Area 2 is an ideal venue for events requiring large amounts of infrastructure. It is home to the Parklife music festival which launches the summer festival season in the Parklands and Circus Oz has been a regular event at the Moore Park Area 2 for their Sydney season.
