Venue Hire
Outdoor Events
Centennial Parklands is a popular choice for many outdoor events and as such we receive many event proposals. To manage this process, we require all applicants to download a copy of the Special Event Proposal form.
For your proposal to be considered, this form must be completed and submitted to the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust. Your proposal is then assessed by an Assessment Committee and approval may be granted. This process can take up to one month to seek approval. It is recommended that you submit your proposal as soon as possible.
Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust does not have a standard table of fees for event hire, fees are dependent on the nature of the event to be held. Event fees are structured based on the information provided within the Special Event Proposal form including the nature of the event, the infrastructure required, the duration of the event, the number of people anticipated to attend etc.
You are welcome to visit the Parklands as part of the process of completing your Special Event Proposal to identify preferred venue spaces for your proposed event. You may find our map pages helpful in this process - there are both interactive and pdf downloadable maps. Please also visit our Regulations page for information that might assist your planning.
Many sites, although not all, are available for hire within the Parklands:
