Bookings

The Trust’s education programs are available for groups up to a maximum of 180 students per excursion (pending staff availability).

Please note the following:

Costs

  • Excursion cost is $10.00 per student for a 2.5 hour excursion and then $1.00 per student for each additional half hour, depending on the excursion required (GST inclusive).
  • Kite and Glider Kits will incur an additional cost of $5.00 per student (GST inclusive).
  • Model Yacht Kits will incur an additional cost of $12.00 per student (GST inclusive).
  • Bike Education for Primary Schools: $25 per student (GST inclusive). Bicycles will be provided by Centennial Cycles with parents and teachers bikes provided free of charge.

Risk Assessment

All activities within Centennial Parklands have been risk assessed and signed off by our qualified OH&S Manager. Prior to each activity potential risks will be discussed with teachers and students.

Bus Information

Buses must enter and exit Centennial Park via Randwick Gates, located on Darley Road. Buses are to wait for a Ranger vehicle escort in the Horse Float Area next to the Equestrian Grounds.

Buses must be escorted by Ranger Security to your drop off and pick up location. Please call 0412 718 611 on approach.

Please inform your bus company of this information when booking and boarding your bus.

Payment

An invoice for payment will be arranged at the completion of your excursion.

Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather the school will be called in the morning, the excursion may be rescheduled to another available date.
