Car Free Days
Car Free Days have been a popular feature of Centennial Park since 1992. They are held on the last Sunday of every season.
On Car Free Days, the vehicle gates and internal roads within Centennial Park are closed to cars offering a great chance to take a stroll, enjoy a bike ride or rollerblade without vehicle traffic.
So why not leave the car behind, grab a ball or frisbee, and make use of the many cycle paths around your area which lead to Centennial Park.
Have your say on Car Free Day
Car Free Days are a long standing and popular event heldon the last Sunday of each season. The Trust conducted an on-site survey at the last Car Free Day (29 August 2010). We are interested in your views and feedback and we invite you to complete a short online survey below. Each respondent will have a chance to win a great prize of four Moonlight Cinema tickets to the value of $100.
