Volunteering is one of the life bloods of Centennial Parklands. Through our volunteer program, we are able to achieve and complete far more than could be achieved otherwise – resulting in environmental and social benefits to the whole community.
Volunteers contribute over 10,000 hours of work across 24 different programs.
In this section you will find information about community and partnership volunteering at Centennial Parklands, including volunteering opportunities, all the latest news from our volunteer teams and some of the great contributions they make to the Parklands and much, much more.
A number of the ongoing volunteer programs across Centennial Parklands are listed in the left hand column. While most programs are fully subscribed at present, you may be able to join a waiting list if noted.
In addition to programs that we coordinate, we have a number of ongoing partnership programs with third party organisations:
- Conservation Volunteering Australia
- Birds Australia
- Planet Ark
- Australian National Sportsfishing Association
- Clean Up Australia Day
- Sydney Wildlife
